About this Opportunity
At AllyGPO, data analytics is a foundational competency woven through our business strategy, internal operations, and products/services. The Analyst, Business Intelligence & Analytics role is essential to these capabilities.
Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence & Analytics and partnering closely with the Sr Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics, the Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, develop data models, present findings, and perform quality assurance for (1) intricate data tables in partnership with our Technology team, (2) internal dashboards for Sales and Operations, and (3) tools and reports provided to specialty clinics and biopharmaceutical customers. This is a role with a broad mandate and high visibility.
A successful candidate will blend a rich technical skill set with a strategic, creative, and curious mind, the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships, a proven track record of execution and attention to detail, and strong communication skills
What You'll Do
- Gain an understanding of the GPO’s business and that of our partners to develop data analytics solutions addressing operational, financial, and clinical objectives.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization: Sales, Operations & Membership Services, C-Suite, Technology & Data Science, etc.
- Apply advanced comprehension of data analytics concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to execute a diverse range of projects.
- Create the analytics product roadmap and ensure milestones are achieved by actively participating in daily scrum ceremonies.
- Document and translate business goals into potential analytic solutions.
- Evaluate data quality and integrity to ensure the accuracy of implementations.
- Analyze and synthesize intricate datasets to provide valuable business insights to leadership.
- Solve problems and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collect, document, and map business processes and system dependencies.
What You Bring
Key Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in data analytics. Experience in the healthcare space a plus.
- Strong technical skills including BI data management (Microsoft SQL Server), data visualization (Power BI), and Application Development (Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with database design, modeling, and segmentation techniques.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to define questions, plan analysis, and interpret results.
- Capability to envision, plan, and effectively carry out tasks.
- Proficient communication skills, encompassing both technical and non-technical domains.
- Ability to build relationships and partnerships with a customer-centric approach
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects.
- Solid project management skills in deploying resources and juggling multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data science, finance, or a related field – or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements
- Effectively perform in a remote work setting.
- General office environment.
- Travel up to 10-15%.
