At AllyGPO, data analytics is a foundational competency woven through our business strategy, internal operations, and products/services. The Developer, Business Intelligence & Analytics role is essential to these capabilities.

Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence & Analytics and partnering closely with them and the Sr Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics, the Developer will design, build, and maintain (1) an array of complex tables in collaboration with our Technology team, (2) internal dashboards for Sales and Operations, and (3) tools and reports provided to specialty clinics and biopharmaceutical customers. This is a role with a broad mandate and high visibility.

A successful candidate will blend a rich technical skill set with a strategic, creative, and curious mind, the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships, a proven track record of execution and attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of the GPO’s business and our partners and develop data strategies and analytics solutions that address the operational, financial, and clinical demands of a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization: Sales, Operations & Membership Services, C-Suite, Technology & Data Science, etc.
  • Apply your advanced comprehension of data analytics concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to execute a diverse range of projects.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
  • Create and manage reports and data extracts to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Document data sources, data transformations, and report logic for future reference.
  • Refine development processes and operational workflows.
  • Evaluate data quality and integrity to ensure the accuracy of implementations.
  • Solve intricate data challenges to align with the demands of a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Collect, document, and map business processes and system dependencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, software engineering, business, mathematics, or a related field – or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in data analytics. Experience in the healthcare space a plus.
  • Strong technical skills including BI data management (Microsoft SQL Server), data visualization (Power BI), and Application Development (Azure DevOps).
  • Robust understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, code optimization, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Agile SDLC, version control, and test management.
  • Ability to conceptualize, strategize, and execute tasks.
  • Proficient communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to build relationships and partnerships with a customer-centric  approach
  • Solid project management skills deploying resources and juggling multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects.
  • A user-centric design approach for dashboards and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
