About this Opportunity
Under the direction of the Manager of Implementations, Logistics, and Support, the Clinical Product Consultant will serve as the primary liaison between our healthcare clients and the development teams, ensuring smooth implementation and optimal use of our healthcare technology products. This role will leverage clinical and technical expertise to train end users, integrate software solutions into clinical workflows, and provide ongoing support to maximize the efficiency of our products in healthcare settings.
What You'll Do
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a clinical product expert, understanding all features, capabilities, and functions of the software to support client needs.
- Client Consultation: Work directly with healthcare providers and organizations to assess their workflows and recommend product configurations that align with clinical practices.
- Software Implementation: Lead the deployment and configuration of healthcare technology solutions at client sites or remotely, ensuring a smooth integration into existing systems.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for clinical staff, both in-person and virtual, ensuring full adoption of the product.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact during the implementation process, addressing any questions or concerns, and providing ongoing support post-implementation.
- Troubleshooting: Work closely with technical support teams to resolve product issues, escalating and communicating effectively with internal teams to meet client needs.
- Process Improvement: Continuously gather client feedback to inform product updates and improvements, working with the product management and development teams to enhance user experience.
- Documentation: Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and product documentation for clients and internal use.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all implementations meet industry standards, including HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, and follow best practices for clinical software use.
What You Bring
Key Skills & Experience
- Clinical Experience: RN, PharmTech, MedTech, or clinical background strongly preferred. Prior experience in a healthcare setting or working with clinical workflows is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with healthcare software such as EHRs and IMS, understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure, and familiarity with integration of health information systems.
- Training Experience: Experience developing and conducting training sessions for clinical users, with strong presentation and communication skills.
- Implementation Experience: Proven track record of leading software implementations, particularly within healthcare organizations, with project management skills being highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess and troubleshoot issues, with a proactive approach to resolving client concerns.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience tracking performance metrics and reporting on implementation success.
- Participation in product roadmap discussions based on field experience.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
- Required 5+ years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Prior experience with dispensing systems in an oncology or retina practice desired.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, software engineering, business, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements
- Effectively perform in a remote work setting.
- General office environment.
- Travel up to 10-15%.
