Reporting & Analytics Consultant

About this Opportunity

At AllyGPO, we are building a next-generation suite of reporting and analytics solutions to help our physician practice members identify and manage financial, operational, and clinical risks and opportunities. The Reporting and Analytics Consultant will support members’ evaluation of, transition to, and ongoing utilization of AllyIQ’s suite of reporting and analytics solutions.

Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics, this position will support our new member business development efforts by conducting demos of our reporting and analytic capabilities. During and immediately after implementation, the Consultant will train end users on the key features and functionality, taking into account each practice’s unique workflow, pain points, and requirements. Following implementation, the Consultant will engage with members on an ongoing basis to identify potential product enhancements, train staff on product updates, and address/resolve any concerns.

To be successful, the person in this role must become an expert on the features and functionality of AllyIQ’s entire reporting and analytics suite. Additionally, this persona must be comfortable and confident in a customer-facing role and be able to marry practice needs with our capabilities. The Consultant will be detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, a skilled communicator, a good listener, and a strategic thinker. 

What You'll Do

  • Serve as current and prospective GPO members’ primary point of contact for the AllyIQ reporting and analytic suite.
  • Demo AllyIQ reporting and analytic tools for prospective members to help advance our business development efforts and collect new ideas for features and enhancements.
  • Train and support users of AllyIQ’s reporting and analytic suite, including but not limited to GPO contract management, inventory reporting, billing reporting, drug utilization, financial business intelligence, and medically integrated dispensing.
  • Create resource documents, business requirements, and other training collateral.
  • Conduct regular quality control reviews, particularly but not exclusively as new practices go live.
  • Perform detailed analysis using external reports and internal reporting resources to respond to user questions and proactively identify potential enhancements.
  • Collect, organize, and communicate ideas and requests for new reporting and analytic solutions to developers.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the development pipeline, prioritization of new features, etc.
  • Partner closely with the other team members from Analytics, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management. 

What You Bring 

Key Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience utilizing reporting and analytic tools daily and/or training users on such tools; the ideal candidate will have experience working in finance or operations at independent, physician-owned clinics or in a related service organization supporting practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop collaborative partnerships with internal teammates and external customers and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and independently.
  • Capability to work both autonomously and as an active participant in a team environment, coordinating and collaborating across functions and businesses.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity, complexity, and highly specialized needs of group purchasing contracts with biopharmaceutical partners. 
  • Must be a quick learner, curious thinker, and willing to develop skills and abilities to meet new challenges and tasks.

 Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Travel up to 80%.
  • Effectively perform in a remote work setting.
  • General office environment.

  • Remote within the US.
