About this Opportunity

At AllyGPO, we strive for operational excellence in all that we do. As our contract portfolio grows, our membership roster swells, and our Corporate Accounts and Provider Sales teams expands, continuing to deliver top-tier operational support that bridges the gray area between Sales activities and Operations activities is a company imperative. The Sr. Manager Membership Operations is an essential role in driving this priority, including the seamless capture and transfer of information and the smooth delivery of results for our members and partners.

Reporting to and partnering closely with the Vice President, Membership and Implementation Operations, the Sr. Manager wears many hats including that of: A contract specialist who advises on key terms and translates legalese; A process manager who monitors deliverables through execution and who closes gaps; A quality-control professional who supports multiple teams; a people-leader who builds, coaches, and develops a worldclass membership team; and An author of SOPs who translates disparate activities into repeatable processes, process documents, and work aids.

A successful candidate will blend a passion for efficient operational execution with a proactive, can-do attitude, a curious mind, and the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships. The candidate will bring a track-record of results-driven execution, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills. 

What You'll Do

  • Develop operational processes and strategies that scale in breadth and depth, grounded an understanding of the business of the GPO, our members, and partners.
  • Ensure quality control of membership operations data
  • Partner with Corporate Accounts in the negotiation, execution, and maintenance of GPO contracts
  • Ensure membership rosters are published in accordance with GPO contracts
  • Serve as a vital resource to Marketing, Analytics, Contract Operations, and Sales, and a facilitator in strategic planning for and execution of member conversion
  • Partner with Sales to navigate upcoming and in-progress onboardings, ensuring a seamless process for members transitioning to AllyGPO and coordinating account set up with team members
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization: Corporate Accounts, Sales, Contract Operations, Data & Analytics, Product, Marketing, C-Suite, etc.
  • Lead multiple teams that make up Membership Operations
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing internal workflows and processes to streamline departmental processes
  • Build quality control resources and workflows to automate and fine-tune data collection, integrity, and use in reports
  • Solve problems before they become problems by leveraging your unique perspective, curiosity, and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring 

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Membership Operations and Contracting; experience in specialty drug group purchasing a plus
  • Solid legal acumen and the ability to communicate contractual terms and requirements in layman’s terms
  • A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders to identify and address operational problems, gap, bottlenecks, and opportunities
  • A bias toward diving-in and solving problems balanced with the rigor to create durable processes rather than band-aid fixes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A sincere interest in building relationships and partnerships
  • Solid project management skills including the ability to effectively leverage teammates and manage multiple projects of diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

Physical Requirements 

  • Effectively perform in a remote work setting
  • General office environment
  • Travel up to 10-15%
